About
Welcome to Chesterfield Barbarians Cricket Club. The club was established in 1946 and plays its cricket at the Robinson Dam Playing Fields, Walton Road, Chesterfield. We have a proud reputation for being a friendly natured and family orientated club and we always welcome new players of all ages; boys and girls!


The club has both Senior and Junior sections. At senior level we currently run two teams in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire Saturday League, and two in the Mansfield and District Sunday League. There is a flourishing Junior section which runs competitive teams from Kwik Cricket from an early age to under 15's. We have an open invite policy for any kids who are looking to get into cricket or have a general interest in sports, and from beginners or advanced players we provide training and coaching every week at our home at Robinsons Dam.

Training taking place from 10.00am to 12.00pm Sunday mornings. Additionally, indoor sessions are arranged in the new year pre-season when the cold weather bites!

Currently indoor nets are at Brookfield Community School for Kwik cricket. First session 2.30 to 4.00. Second session4.00 TO 5.30. First session for yonger whilst second session does include some hard ball but mainly bowling. Outdoor starts Sunday 1st May on Walton Dam 100 to 12.00
