hello my daughter played violin at her school for four years and she has an acoustic violin ,also she has not had a exam and is not on a grade yet. im just wondering if you do grades and how much you charge for lessons thank you for your time

Hi Jason, yes I do put pupils in for grades if that's what they want to do. I think exams are a good way to check their progression and also to have something to aim for. However, they aren't for everyone, so I only put pupils in who want to. I have a 100% pass rate and would never put in anyone I didn't think was ready (would be no point!). I wouldn't think your daughter would need more than a half hour lesson and for that I charge £14. Thanks for your enquiry.
do you sell violins if not do u provide them or do u have to take ur own one.

Hi Anthony, thanks for your enquiry. I don't sell violins but I do have a few available for rent. They cost £20 a month to hire. It's good to hire if you're not sure how serious you are at the beginning and saves you the initial outlay. However there are some very reasonable student kits available if you want one of your own.
